Information we collect

We collect account details you provide, including your name, email address, phone number and address. We also collect property details, photos and documents you submit, and identity verification or payment information when needed for a service.

We collect usage and device data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and activity on the site. We also collect text, chat and call data when you contact us, as described below.

Text, chat and call data; AI assistants

When you contact BRXXR by text, WhatsApp, website chat or phone, we collect your phone number and contact details, message content and attachments, conversation and delivery timestamps, consent choices and evidence (who, when, IP address where available, exact wording/version and how consent was given), callback requests, and call recordings, transcripts, summaries and duration where applicable. We use this information to provide account and customer support, protect security, maintain records and improve quality. Brixa and other AI assistants may process messages and calls to answer questions, transcribe or summarize communications and route requests to staff.

Calls with BRXXR, including calls answered by our AI assistant, may be recorded and transcribed for quality and record-keeping.

How we use it

We use information to operate accounts and the marketplace, provide customer support, protect security and prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and improve the site. We use submitted property information to support the services you request.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, database services, email, SMS and voice communications, identity verification and payment processing. They process information on our behalf as needed to provide these services. We do not sell personal information.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud or address security concerns. The restrictions in the Text messaging section below apply to mobile information and text messaging consent.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary and functional cookies only, to keep the site working, maintain sign-in and remember preferences. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may prevent some parts of the site from working.

Text messaging

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Your choices and rights

You can request access to, update or delete your personal information by emailing privacy@brxxr.com. We may verify your identity before processing a request. Some records must be kept to meet legal obligations.

You can opt out of non-transactional emails using the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. We may still send necessary account or service messages. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, or HELP for help.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect security, and we delete it automatically on the following schedule unless a legal hold applies:

Closed accounts: personal data deleted within 30 days of your deletion request; we email you when it is complete.

Lender data from Plaid (mortgage balance, rate and payment): deleted immediately when you disconnect or close your account, and after 12 months without sign-in.

Contacts and leads: 2 years after our last contact.

Communications (messages, chats, call records and email logs): 3 years.

Security and audit logs: 1 year; approval records: 6 years.

Offering and investor records: 6 years; financial and tax records: 7 years.

Consent evidence: at least 5 years, including after opt-out.

A legal hold (for example, a dispute, investigation or regulatory request) pauses deletion of the affected records until it is released. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or limit its use where deletion is not technically feasible.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption during transmission and access controls. No system is completely secure. We will notify you of a data breach when required by law.

Children

BRXXR is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact privacy@brxxr.com so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and change the Last updated date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
